This one-day open-air event is free to the public and they encourage all of the Mackay region to travel the globe in a day! Line Palm Avenue for the Opening Parade featuring traditional dress from many countries. Wander through the Global Village and experience the culture, traditions and food from the many different cultural groups of Mackay. With craft workshops for children, cultural demonstrations and a full line-up of entertainment on the main stage there's something for the whole family. The night will conclude with a fireworks display at 8.30pm....
