Your hosts are more than happy for you to come along with them and get up and close with the animals, you can help feed the animals, check if the chickens have laid some eggs or help groom the animals.
If you would like to help out on the farm, Farmer Mike is sure to give the kids (or adults) some chores to do like collecting firewood, feeding out hay, and even helping out with the sheep herding.
Once the animals have been taken care of, the farm has a large dam where you can try your hand at yabbying or try to strike it rich by gold panning in Frying Pan Creek that runs through the property.
You can explore a little further with a bushwalk in Chiltern / Mt Pilot National park or bring your own boat and spend a day at the Hume Weir or the Murray River fishing or water skiing.
