Known as Ngurrungurrudjba, the billabong is located near the small settlement of Cooinda. It is home to crocodiles, wild horses, buffalo and other wildlife. The vast range of resident birdlife includes jacana, egrets, jabiru, sea eagles, magpie geese and many other native species.
