Established in 2001, Marshall Arts is South Australia's only specialist gallery for Indigenous contemporary fine art.
The gallery also programs exhibitions of invited artists of diverse cultural backgrounds whose practice engages with ideas of country/nation, culture and identity, across all media. The artists speak in their own terms and voices of their multiple histories, beliefs, politics and cultural heritages.
Marshall Arts has earned a reputation as a respected gallery at the forefront of ethical and curatorial practice. The gallery works directly with public institutions and private collectors internationally to build the profiles of emerging and established artists through permanent acquisitions, public exhibitions, loans, and publications.
