The word "Dillalah" is an aboriginal word meaning Galah. There is good fishing either side of the bridge. Approximately two kilometres down stream, there is a good camping area. Land in this area is commonly used to breed Merino sheep for their wool. So don't be too surprised if the locals (sheep) drop in to say "G'day". A great activity for all the family to enjoy.
