An off shore reef barrier protects and shelters the lagoon and there are public change rooms and showers if you want to plan this as a swimming stop in advance. Bring appropriate swimming gear. goggles and towels if you want to go for a dip in the Indian Ocean before heading up to the Pinnacles later.

The park also has a sweets and tea shop and beautiful wetlands which are lovely photo stops

Stop At: The Pinnacles, Pinnacles Drive Nambung National Park, Cervantes, Western Australia 6511 Australia

The Pinnacles Desert landscape is a natural gallery of hundreds of sandstone plinths much like a type of Stonehenge.

The totally natural sandstone plinth shapes are randomly scattered around the park and are of varying sizes, shapes, textures, heights and colours.

Sandy winding pathways enable vehicle access through the Pinnacles Desert park and there are sidings which allow temporary parking and photography stops to take place.

Its common for visitors to take photos of the Pinnacles Desert as a natural background landscape.

There is a modern Discovery Centre at the entrance to the Desert Park which explains various theories about how the landscape was formed. Displays of the wildlife and flora of the Desert Park are also part of the Discovery Centre as well as a souvenir shop.

Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Stop At: Cervantes, Cervantes, Western Australia

The seaside fishing town of Cervantes is a 15 minute drive north of the Pinnacles and is the preferred lunchstop if you want to make the Pinnacles your first main stop. There are two great restaurants to choose from which both offer the local Lobster on the menu.
The Lobster Shack is the more well known choice and the Cervantes Bistro also offers a broad menu of seafood, steaks, pasta and drinks.

Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Hangover Bay, Indian Ocean Dr Nambung National Park, Coral Coast Region, Cervantes, Western Australia 6511 Australia

A lovely bay with generally very clear blue water and white sandy beaches. The coastline however can be subject to storms and large piles of smelly salty seaweed so be mindful this may disappoint subject to local weather conditions.

Best way to see Perth with a fantastic tour guide. Peter is fun, easy to get along with and knows where all the good things to see are. We did the Pinnacles tour and the Margaret River tour. Saw many amazing places that were not on the itinerary of any other coach trips from other big companies. As it is a private tour Peter caters the tour to suit your group and what you would like to see. I couldn't imagine a better way to see Perth. Avoid the stress of getting Lost and enjoy a few cheecky drinks if you wish. Peters tours are great value for money and we will do another tour with Peter next time we come to Perth to explore more good places that western Australia has to offer.

I strongly recommend Perths Tiny tour / Peter. We did 2 tours with Peter: the pinnacles day tour and the Margaret river tour. For each tour, he picked us at our hotel and dropped us off at the end of the tour. The tours were well organized and we saw really nice things: the must sees like the Pinnacles but also more peculiar things like the gnomes'village. Peter was also a really informative guide telling us a lot about western Australia. FYI, we booked 2 tours with other companies and they cancelled last minute. Peter saved us and took us last minute on the Margaret river tour. Thank you Peter!

An excellent day tour, very worth the price. pick up and drop off was provided. Peter was very helpful and knowable about the area and things to do. All five kids aged 11-18 had a great time. 10/10 would recommend to others

We had a great day with Pete. Besides the Pinnacles, where we spent as much time as we wanted, we stopped many times to see interesting plants, took a detour to a lake with stromatolites and visited huge dunes of white sand where sand boarding was happening. He provided refreshing snacks along the way. He took pictures throughout the day that he willingly shared to add to our record of the day. A wonderful day all around.

I don’t think whatever I write does justice to the service we received from Peter. He is downright a superstar tour guide and a gem of person. We thoroughly enjoyed our time during the Pinnacles tour. Peter also made a few stops along the way and back, which helped us to see some pristine Western Australian landscape. Peter also had some gastronomic surprises for us along the way which were delightful. There is absolutely no doubt that we will recommend Peter for whatever tours he provides as part of his service.

With only limited time in Perth, my wife and I wanted to choose a small tour operator that maximized our time at each location. Peter did not disappoint. He picked us up directly at our hotel, taking us to Yanchep National park to see koalas, kangaroos, and a go on a cave tour. Next, we visited the expansive sand dunes of Lancelin. Our final stop was at the Pinnacles to view the rock formations. Peter was a wonderful guide. He provided insights at each location and never made us feel rushed as we explored. We had an amazing experience and would definitely recommend Perth Tiny Tours to anyone else looking to visit Western Australia.

We were really surprised that we could get a tour for our small company of three persons. We were picked up and dropped of at our hotel and had the most friendly guide. No effort was too much. All we had to do was ask and Peter fulfilled our wishes. Even more, he made suggestions so we really got the most out of our day. We felt like millionaires for a day!!

Peter is a wonderful guide and we had a great time, the day we spent with him was probably our best day in Perth. Am traveling with my mum who is in her late 60 and Pete took care of her really well, things were all arranged according to our pace and needs, and when he knew my mum loves flowers he took us to a bushwalking on the way back, though it was a short walk but it was the best experience (sorry pinnacles) as the forest was full of that rich earthy / mushroom smell. Communication with Pete was easy, he picked us up as scheduled, took us to a tasty lunch, and offered yummy fruits on the way. The key attraction is the Pinnacle, but there were lots of little things to see along the way, we could stop and enjoy the scenery as we like, which is a very good way to tour Perth. Best of all he captured quite some lovely moments and took some really nice shots for us, we are grateful to have some good record of our journey, Thank you Pete~

Peter from Tiny Tours is a diamond of a person and a terrific tour guide. The He is so warm, friendly and knowledgeable. He cannot do enough to make your day as nice as humanly possible. Highly recommended for any tour in/around Perth. He will tailor your experience to exactly what you want (and has a great eye for photography so will capture any fantastic moment you'd like perfectly). Thank you so much. A+++
